Fanaka Wema Foundation, an independent humanitarian organization transforming and improving the livelihoods of the community through Education, Social and community well-being of mankind and community service.
The foundation is run by Fanaka Real Estate, a certified and award-winning real estate agency, selling prime plots in Ruiru-Kamakis, Juja Farm and along Kangundo Road in Kamulu, Joska and Malaa towns.
Education intervention is at the heart of the foundation’s work and its goal is to facilitate the less privileged children in the society with high school education.
Fanaka Wema Foundation seeks to give hope to children that despite their background, their dreams are still valid.
“We believe that if children are well educated then they can be empowered to lift themselves out of poverty and be productive members of the society,” director Moses Muriithi says.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and policies undertaken by Fanaka Wema Foundation, with an intention of having a positive influence on the world.
Through community service, Fanaka Wema ensures support for human activities that guarantee environmental sustainability for future generations.
Waste management is at the core of the work in aligning with our community development goal (Clean water and sanitation).
It also champions climate change action, agitating for action on both mitigation and adaptation of measures to safeguard planet earth.
Fanaka Wema is also committed to social service intervention by supporting children’s homes to create favourable conditions for the upbringing, education, health improvement and preparation for an independent life of orphans and children left without parental care.
“Our desire to make an impact in our world is supported through partnering with well-wishers to ensure sustainable action in areas that align with our key focus areas,” the director notes.
The organisation’s main offices are located in Ruiru North Park Premier Hub in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
